Weir ranks among top UK companies for workplace mental health
Weir has retained Tier 1 status in the 2026 CCLA Corporate Mental Health Benchmark — and now ranks as the 6th highest scoring company overall.
An 88% score highlights continued progress in how we support the mental wellbeing of our people and embed it across our business.
Driving progress that investors recognise
CCLA’s benchmark assesses how the UK’s largest listed companies manage and report on mental health. Investors use it to understand how businesses support their people — and long-term performance.
We’ve built strong momentum — improving year on year, retaining Tier 1 status for a second consecutive year and moving further up the rankings.
Making wellbeing part of how we work
We believe that mental wellbeing is fundamental to safety and performance. It runs through our ‘Zero Harm. Every Day.’ approach and helps shape decisions, behaviours and leadership expectations.
We focus on creating an environment where:
– we speak openly about mental health
– leaders prioritise wellbeing alongside performance
– our people can access support when they need it.
That focus is backed by action. Our Employee Assistance Programme continues to expand globally, alongside a growing network of trained mental health first aiders.
Turning commitment into action
A more structured, transparent approach underpins how mental health is managed — with aligned policies, scaled programmes and clearer measurement of progress.
Colleagues across the business — from frontline teams to senior leaders — bring this to life every day, building a culture where people feel supported and valued. This result reflects that collective effort.
