Sandvik has acquired the assets of FASTech, a US-based reseller of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) solutions in Mastercam’s network. With this acquisition, Sandvik strengthens its position in the CAM market and further enhances its ability to meet customer needs and expand its customer base. FASTech will be part of the Mastercam business unit and will be reported within the Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions business area.

FASTech was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio. The company’s customers are in the manufacturing sector in the American Midwest. The impact on Sandvik’s EBITA margin and earnings per share will be limited. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
